Tapani Tilus

I started my career at Raute in 2021 as Chief Digital Officer and was nominated to Chief Technology Officer in September 2023. While my main responsibility is coordinating product development, I also gladly participate in implementing our strategy. Before Raute, I had worked in various leadership positions from lifting equipment to warehouse automation to becoming the Head of Warehouse Automation business and developing and launching services. My current job provides an excellent perspective into Raute's business and operations. I am involved in many different and fascinating customer projects and develop unique and best possible solutions for our customers' needs together with Raute's top-notch team.

As the Chief Technology Officer, I am basically the face of product development, and thus interacting with customers and understanding their businesses and needs is at the heart of our success. Therefore, our customer's questions and concerns are very important to us. The respect for wood, which stems from everything we do, is essential in our business. Through our products, innovations, and new services, especially data and digital tools, we aim to combine our customers' needs with smart and resource-efficient use of wood. Our key to success is our deep and robust knowledge of our customers' businesses combined with strong leadership skills in projects and intelligent processes.
